Good Dance Shoe

The material on these shoes is not flexible you will want a shoe horn with them. I also have to completely undo the laces to put the shoe on. The shoe is comfortable and I was surprised to find that I was able to dance a whole night in them immediately. The slide on these shoes is great. The heel is slick so be aware that you might not have the stop you are used to there. Sole is thicker than a lot of dance shoes resulting in less flex, and I find that I am not able to feel the floor with them, so if you are looking to play with foot articulations and feeling the floor this is definitely not the shoe for you. With the thicker nature of the shoe it should not surprise you that the shoe is on the heavier side. All in all a good shoe, better for Lindy Hop than Shag or Balboa.
